Spacious rooms, engaging activities, and the freedom to experience a new way of carefree living—you’ll find all that and much more at Residential Living Center.
We are a family owned, locally managed assisted living community tucked away in a friendly neighborhood on the east side of Mt. Vernon, Illinois. Our 50 room community features studio, one bedroom, and two bedroom apartments, as well as a beautiful dining room, lounges, a card room, library, salon, and a conference room for private parties.
Residential Living Center is located in a country setting but is close enough for easy access to services and attractions in Mt. Vernon. Enjoy leisurely morning and afternoon walks down our winding paths set amongst beautifully manicured lawns and gardens. The tranquil, park-like setting of our campus is a wonderful place to relax and socialize with friends. If you need short-term post-operative or rehabilitation care, you’ll find excellent care right next door at
Mt. Vernon Countryside Manor.
We’re here to serve you, and we feel honored that you’ve chosen to make Residential Living Center your home. Our caring and compassionate staff will assist you with your daily needs. We focus on providing quality care for each resident. Keith King has managed the Residential Living Center since it opened in 1992. Keith has a degree in Health Care Administration, and more importantly, takes tremendous pride as a member of this family owned business. Although Keith runs the day-to-day operations of RLC, his main priority is to ensure the residents receive the highest quality of care.
We take great pride in the safety, security, and well-being of our residents. We provide 24-hour security for our building and campus, and each apartment includes an emergency response system in both the bedroom and bathroom so you can alert our staff if you need help. Each apartment also has a sprinkler and smoke detection system. We believe in providing a safe, caring and enjoyable living environment for our senior residents.
Caring for seniors and individuals with special needs is more than just providing a place to live, eat, and sleep. For a living environment to be truly called a home, residents need to be nurtured, respected, and engaged in making decisions about their activities and health care. You will find all of these attributes at any one of our senior living facilities. To learn more about King Management, please visit us at: www.kingmgt.com, or give us a call at (618) 327-3064.
